ShareText.club is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:

• Text you share: Stored temporarily (24 hours) to provide the service. We do not read, analyze, or sell your content.
• IP address: Used solely for rate limiting (preventing abuse). Not linked to your shared content. Auto-deleted after 2 hours.
• No accounts, no emails, no personal information is collected.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Your shared text is stored only to deliver it to the recipient via the generated code.
• IP addresses are used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

3. Data Retention

• Shared text is automatically deleted after 24 hours. No backups are kept.
• Rate limit records (IP only) are deleted after 2 hours.
• We have no mechanism to recover deleted data.

4. Data Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
• Data is stored on AWS infrastructure (DynamoDB, S3) with encryption at rest.
• Access codes are randomly generated and not guessable.
• However, shared text is not end-to-end encrypted. Do not share highly sensitive data (passwords, credit card numbers, private keys) through this service.

5. Cookies

ShareText.club does not use cookies, trackers, or any analytics tools. No third-party scripts beyond the QR code library are loaded.

6. Third-Party Services

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Infrastructure provider. Subject to AWS Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: Font delivery. Subject to Google Privacy Policy.

By using ShareText.club, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ShareText.club provides a temporary text sharing service. Text is stored for up to 24 hours and accessible via a unique code. The service is provided "as is" without guarantees of availability or permanence.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use this service to:

• Share illegal content, including but not limited to: child exploitation material, terrorist content, stolen data, or content that violates any applicable law.
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or malicious code.
• Harass, threaten, or defame any person.
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
• Spam, flood, or abuse the service in any automated manner beyond normal use.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures.
• Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

• The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that shared text will be available for the full 24-hour period. Service interruptions may occur.
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or consequence resulting from use of this service.
• We are not liable for content shared by users. Each user is solely responsible for the content they share.
• Our total liability is limited to $0 (zero). This is a free service.

5. Content Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for any content you share through this service.
• We do not monitor, review, or moderate content.
• We reserve the right to delete any content or block any user without notice.
• If we receive a valid legal request or report of illegal content, we will comply with applicable law.

6. Rate Limits & Fair Use

• The service has rate limits to ensure fair access for all users.
• Maximum text size: determined by the system (currently limited).
• Maximum shares per hour: limited per IP address.
• Exceeding limits will result in temporary blocking.
• Repeated abuse may result in permanent IP blocking.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShareText.club, its owner, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the service operator.
